This year is coming to its end and we believe that those little tips about self-caring are the keys of happiness to start a New Year…

Practice exercise and/or yoga

Yoga is for everyone. From young teenagers to athletes, middle-aged moms or older man & woman, everyone can join the Tribe of Yoga. Everyone is welcome to find peace within their mind, body & spirit.

The benefits of yoga are amazing and provide both instant gratification and lasting transformation. Yoga is more than just a work-out. It is about feeling in harmony, quiet your mind, and listen to your body. Yoga helps one relieving stress and anxiety in order to become more focused. Depending on your personality and expectations, you will find different kinds of yoga. Don’t be scared to try different styles to find the one that fits you the best.

Surround yourself with good and healthy people

In our everyday life we are surrounded by many different people. Some people loving presence nurtures and encourages us. Others may have the opposite effect: draining us of our energy, making us feel tired and exhausted. We must listen to this little voice inside us and not allow ourselves to be treated poorly by negative people.

Choose your friends with care, they create the environment in which you will either thrive or wilt. Give everyone the opportunity to be a friend, but share your dreams and goals only with those who value them as much as you do.

Connect with Nature

Nature connection is essentially the idea that human beings, are one part of an interconnected natural world. Connecting with nature boosts your health and well-being making space for your inspiration and creativity.

We need to spend more time unplugged and find ways to let nature balance our lives. Let us remember that nature can be defined and experienced in many ways. Experiencing nature can be a simple walk surrounded by trees. Nature can be found all over cities.

Ask yourself: when was the last time you spent some time surrounded by nature ? Next time you go, take five minutes to connect to Mama Nature. Sit down, take a deep breath and feel. Make yourself conscious of the effects the natural surroundings have on you. How much peace it brings to you. Always remember how it made you feel to do it again and again.


Meditate, at least 20 minutes a day and feel the long term benefits of it. You will be impressed.

Meditation is a means of transforming the mind. It encourages and develops concentration, clarity, emotional positivity, and a calm seeing of the true nature of things. It enables one to focus on the present moment rather than dwell on the unchangeable past or undetermined future. Meditation is seen by number of researchers as potentially one of the most effective forms of stress reduction.

Sleep well

Sleep plays a vital role in good health and well-being throughout your life. Getting enough quality sleep at the right times can help protect your mental health, physical health, quality of life, and safety.

Don’t neglect your sleeping hours. Don’t think it is a lost of time. It is not. Your organism is working hard during this time. Listen to your body.

Eat healthy

Healthy food habits are hard to develop and often require changing your mindset. But if you’re willing to make sacrifices to better your health, the impact can be far-reaching.

Following a healthy, well-balanced diet reduces risk of chronic diseases, such as diabetes, heart disease and cancer. It increases considerably your quality of life, helps to control your weight, improves your mood and physical appearance, as well as boosting your energy.

Aim to consume a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains and unsaturated fats to be healthier and happier !

Love yourself first

It is essential to have a solid foundation of knowing and understanding who you are, and what matters most to you. Life is a voyage of self discovery and we have the ability to change for the better by loving and taking care of ourselves.

It is not selfish to love ourselves. It clears us so that we can love ourselves enough to love other people. Love is something we can choose, the same way we choose anger, or hate, or sadness. We can choose to forgive. We can choose to be grateful for what we have. We can choose love and always answer with love. It’s always a choice within us.

Do what you love

Do what you love, and do a lot of it.

If you are passionate about something, go for it and use that in favor of yourself. You should strive to achieve something in that field. You might not earn as much money as if you were working somewhere else but waking up everyday to do what you love will make you be one hundred times happier with who you are and the life you live.

Let’s start to choose love as it is the most powerful healing force there is.
